Picture Hanging
We offer a professional service which focuses on aesthetically pleasing arrangement and installation of art, and ensures that your works are hung securely, accurately and in relation to the decor that surrounds them. We hang framed art, paintings, mirrors, and three dimensional artworks of all kinds. We have experience hanging safely and securely, while assuring to never cause excessive damage to your walls. We take precaution to ensure that art is carefully handled and appropriately placed.
Mirror Hanging
Mirrors can be tricky to hang and possibly dangerous if not hung securely. If you have invested in a large heavy mirror or series of mirrors, you need to take extra care in hanging it. We take wall structure, hanging fixtures and positions into account and have the tools and equipment to hang your large mirrors and other items, safely and securely.
Security Hanging
Security picture hanging (also known as T-Lock mounting) is the standard for hotels, restaurants, hospitals, galleries, apartment building common areas, and many other public spaces. It prevents theft with hidden tamper-proof hardware, and also keeps pictures hanging permanently straight and level. In addition to theft prevention, security hanging is also valuable for earthquake protection, heavy foot traffic areas, moving walls and doors, and installations near machinery. We have years of experience hanging with security hardware, and can handle any size job.
Other Installations
If it’s something that mounts to a wall, chances are we can hang it. This includes TV mounts, draperies, shelving, or just about any type of custom art piece. We can install on almost any surface, including drywall, wood, plaster, cement, brick, stone, and most metals. Consulting
We also deal with consulting and advisement regarding the correct positioning and layout of artwork or visual displays. We are able to advise you in all aspects of designing walls or rooms for maximum visual appeal, including height, positioning, color tones, and all other associated issues.

We have been involved in the art and framing business for over 15 years, and established Seattle Visual when we saw the need for a premium art installation service in the Puget Sound area. We work directly for individuals and businesses as well as for interior designers.
We pride ourselves in the quality of work and emphasis on understanding clients’ needs to ensure that display enhances the living or work space. We work efficiently, neatly, and accurately, never making unnecessary mess or creating damage.
We have experience installing any type of artwork or fixture on any type of wall, and can handle even the most difficult spaces while meeting the most precise specifications. No project is too large.
Rates
Hourly Rate – $200/hr
For general jobs, or any work that can not be easily itemized, we charge hourly. We also charge hourly for consultation, design, arrangement, and deliveries. Some jobs may be a combination of per-piece pricing and hourly, depending on what service we provide.
All hanging jobs also come with a base fee. This covers transportation, equipment, and tools. Base fee rates depend where you’re located, and start at $30. We have a minimum of $250 per job (in Seattle) – outside Seattle, our minimum varies depending on the location. Contact us for a quote.
Commercial Job Rates
For larger commercial jobs, we charge by the piece. This works in your favor, because you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for, and can feel insured that we won’t be wasting time.
Basic pictures with standard mounting: $12/piece
Basic pictures plus added hardware: $15/piece
Pictures with security mounts: $20/piece
Oversized pieces (generally over 100 LBS, or greater than 6′ tall/wide), difficult to reach installations (e.g. over tall stairwells or precarious locations), or pieces with unconventional mounting that require special hardware range in pricing – anywhere from $25 – $200/piece.
